TransPAC is a longstanding collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to enhancing network infrastructure for research and education. Funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) for over two decades, TransPAC not only provides trans-pacific capacity but also delivers essential services to support large-scale international research efforts. IN@IU works with TransPAC project co-lead SingAREN and in partnership with the Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN), the Asia Pacific Oceania Network (APOnet), Internet2, Pacific Wave, the Trans-Eurasia Information Network (TEIN), and WIDE to ensure robust connectivity across all of Asia is available for US researchers.
TransPAC uses the NetSage to monitor circuit status and to better understand how the circuits are being used. Current NetSage data for TransPAC can be viewed here.
