Connecting the world's research and education communities

International Networks at Indiana University (IN@IU) delivers network connectivity that fosters the scientific collaboration that drives research and education in every corner of the world. From niche projects to large-scale research efforts, IN@IU uses high performance networking as a tool to advance scientific diplomacy.

IN@IU is part of the global research and education (R&E) community that supports one another through frequent communication, cooperation, and collaboration. The National Science Foundation (NSF) supports these activities by soliciting proposals for International Research Network Connections (IRNC) in production network environments and experimental networking activities supporting cyberscience applications. IRNC also supports special projects such as:

  • Advanced network development
  • Deployment
  • Security
