Scott Chevalier

Scott Chevalier joined International Networks as a Network Systems Analyst in 2015. He currently helps to plan and distribute small form factor network measurement and monitoring resources to developing research and education networks, and assists members and customer institutions with training and diagnosis of network issues. He is currently co-chair of the perfSONAR Training Group and specializes in small node resources for deployments on limited resources or for wide deployment.

Prior to coming onto the International Networks team, Chevalier had worked in various positions at IU since 2001. He initially served as assistant webmaster for IUPUI, then as webmaster for several departments and schools, and eventually as webmaster for the communications and marketing team over IUPUI.

Starting in 2009, Chevalier assumed a number of roles within the Global Network Operations Center (GlobalNOC) at IU. These culminated in his becoming Specialized Support Technician for Internet2 and the ACE and TransPAC international networks, as well as for the internet exchange points of Manhattan Landing (MAN LAN) and Washington International Exchange (WIX) which ultimately led to his current posting.
