Andrew Lee, Principle Network Analyst
Andrew Lee was the Associate Director for International Networks at Indiana University (IN@IU). In this role, he was the co-Principal Investigator (co-PI) on the TransPAC project, which provided services and support for transpacific networks and scientific data movement. He also provided support and expertise to the Networks for European, American, and African Research (NEAAR), which works with Europe and Africa, as well as the NetSage measurement and monitoring project. All of these projects are part of the US National Science Foundation (NSF) International Research Network Connection (IRNC) portfolio.
Lee joined Indiana University in 2004 working within the Global Network Operations Center (GlobalNOC) on various research and education networks, including Internet2’s domestic and international networks and IU's Research Computing network. He switched from the GlobalNOC to International Networks in 2012. Prior to IU, he spent 10 years working for commercial internet providers. He received his BS in Computer Science from Salem-Teikyo University in 1994.
